I agree with you in the "90 day lockout" on returns being an overreach.

Since this is a marketplace and not the government, however, the countermeasure is simple: I won't shop there any more frequently than once every 90 days, and purchase no more than one item when I do. This way, I don't give up any freedom - in this case consumer protection - due to their arbitrary policy.

Oh - and if I should suffer any damages due to identity theft during that 90 days - they may possibly get sued for not protecting my personal information.
