![]() In the 5th race at Remington Park, the winner had $2,090 bet to win on him. There was $31,701 in the Win pool. the track take on WPS bets at Remington is 18%. If you do the math, the winner should have paid $24.80 to win. He only paid $20.20 to win. I called Remington and nobody could explain the discrepancy.
The place payoff was wrong also. there was $12,077 in the place pool. The winner had $833 bet on him to place. The second horse had $1,446 bet to place. That means the winner should have paid $11 to place yet he only paid $9.00 to place. I make these calculations every day and they always come out right. This is the first time that the numbers have ever been way off like this. I don't get it. Last edited by Rupert Pupkin : 11-04-2006 at 10:36 AM. |
