Problems for the Japanese runners (Curren Chan, Pas De Trois and Trailblazer) as they're boarded and then stuck on the ground with engine trouble... 4 hours turns into 12.
Meanwhile Rocket Man jumped shadows again on his final blowout. He will arrive tomorrow. Green Birdie works with blinkers on... Not exactly the desired result. "I put the blinkers on to sharpen him, but he resented them. He's a funny old horse, He didn't enjoy it and had his ears back. We want to do a bit more with him. He didn't like the cups on so he'll gallop again next week without them." - Caspar Fownes
