I remember Baffert had a horse named Work for James McIngvale, i believe he was a 950k purchase. Haha, Work. At some point he was in the list of "favorites" for the 2004? Derby just based on Baffert being impressed with him. Menifee colt. His first start he finished wayyyyyyyyy up the track. He was a 950,000 sales 2YO and was the main "item of interest" in the original sales kickback discussions where the agents were getting %s of the sales price...
