Default Native American uproar over use of "Geronimo"

Representatives of Native American groups have expressed outrage over use of the code name "Geronimo" for the operation which killed OBL. Now I realize Geronimo was and is an Native American icon but come on folks, his name has been used in various ways throughout the years, and has become a term independent of the man. How PC must we be? I admit that I may be a bit insensitive to this outrage given the fact that my religion is usually depicted by an old hag wearing a pointed hat with a big nose with a wart on the end riding a broomstick but really now....I can laugh at myself, even demeaning depictions of my faith, why can't folks accept things for what they are instead of getting upset over every perceived slight?
