I really like David Gilmour's solo stuff. I got the 5 disc version of Live at Gdansk so I could get the 5.1 surround sound version of "On an Island".

I didn't have any expectations of Metallic Spheres. I haven't sat down and really really listened to it. I have it playing in the headphones while I'm at work and when I am at home surfing the net. It's peripheral. Even so...

I just can't get into it. I tried but the 2nd track (Spheres side) bothers me so much that I have to stop playing it.

This CD may appeal to The Orb fans much more than the David Gilmour Pink Floyd fans.
