Granted, Arcodoro is another horse who you wouldn't expect graded stakes success from but he finished 7th of 8 in the Hawthorne Gold Cup beaten 71.5 lengths. Amazingly enough it was another 18.75 lengths back to Temple City in a race where the winner and last place finisher were spread out over 90 lengths. That has to be on the verge of being a record.
The Woodward did not look like a good race during it or after and while much couldn't really be expected from the also-rans, I can't see it as anything but a negative sign for Quality Road. NT
