Gotta love the fact that the Barbaro drew 8 horses with a $100k purse going 1 1/16 miles and on the same day, the Long Branch at Monmouth has a field of 6 for $175k at the same distance...both restricted to 3YO.
What is even better? A whopping 11 horses have been entered between the two races, 3 of the Long Branchers are entered in the Barbaro. At what point will some of these tracks get together, cut these stakes schedules, and develop some meaningful approach to share the love?
