I would agree that Lava Man's two turf races this year were awesome, especially his first one. TTM may not be able to beat LM. I wasn't really thinking about LM when I made the statement since LM rarely runs on the turf. I do think that TTM has probably accomplished the most on the turf this year in this country. If the year ended right now, he would have a great chance to win the Eclipse for best turf horse.

I should have been more specific with my opinion. I think that Aragorn is the best miler on the turf. I think that TTM and LM are the two best at 9-10 furlongs. I honestly don't know how good TTM is beyond 1 1/4 miles. I know he won at 1 1/2 miles a long time ago but I still don't know if he is as good at that distance.

I definitely think that TTM is a better horse than both Cacique and EC. By the way, TTM is running agaisnt TH Approval on Saturday at Santa Anita. I've always been a fan of THP but I don't think he stands much chance against TTM on Saturday.

Anyway, I think we've debated about TTM for long enough. We'll see how he does against the best horses at 1 1/2 miles in the BC Turf.
