Maybe this has been linked elsewhere around here, but I caught it for the first time today while checking the Santa Anita entries at calracing.com.

It's the story of Mac McBride, the guy in the hat next to John Shirreffs caught on camera during the Zenyatta win celebration moment at the Breeders Cup.

It's a pretty good and fun read.
