I think this was perhaps a well timed cough - and it sounds a lot better than saying "we will skip the race because we can't beat a goat on this surface." Macho Again's non-dirt record is as follows: * 7th beaten 13 lengths at 8/5 odds at Keeneland on poly * 7th beaten 13 lengths behind Adriano in the Spiral at Turfway * 6th beaten 12 lengths at 2/1 odds on the turf in the Woodchopper Stakes at FG.
