Buy a Mac if you want to spend 50-100% more than you need to and if something goes wrong, spend about 500% more to get it fixed.
Of course, you can easily fix a PC yourself and save more. Can you do that with a Mac? Yeah, you can if you buy the proprietary tools needed to work on one (laptops especially). Why? Cause Apple likes to fugg their customers. Also buy a Mac if you want a lot less software to run on your system. I used to work in software development, and man, EVERYONE I worked with hated Macs.
