1.5 million for that filly is WAY above market value for her in this market. She won a restricted, non graded stakes beating absolutely nothing but Calder based maiden breakers. The most recent beyers for the field were 48,44, 55, 48, 47, 53, and 54. She was a tick faster than a maiden race a few races earlier and ran almost identical fractions and final time as the colts division later in the card. While there are those here that are much more qualified to discuss times, speed figures, etc. she didnt appear to run all that fast to warrant a 1.5 million dollar offer. While she is by a very hot sire, her female family is undistinguished. If she were to get hurt and never run or win again she is worth about 150k as a BM.
And there are very few fillies ever bought in the 3 million dollar range as yearlings.
