Electrocutionist dead
Sad news from Newmarket. Just found this on Racing Post...
ELECTROCUTIONIST, winner of the Dubai World Cup in March, died in Newmarket in the early hours of Saturday morning following a suspected heart attack. A statement on www.godolphin.com said: "Electrocutionist has sadly died following a suspected heart attack. "He died this morning after suffering what is thought to have been a heart attack." The winner of eight of his 12 starts, firstly in Italy with Valfredo Valiani and latterly with Saeed Bin Suroor for Godolphin, Electrocutionist won three times at Group 1 level, the most notable being his thrilling victory in the world's richest race, the World Cup, at Nad Al Sheba in March
