Look at his splits in the Derby and see how anyone else in that field finished who tried to stay near him. The name does suit you though.

Those horses were Stormello, Cowtown Cat, and Teuflesberg. There isn't a scenario in the world short of every horse falling down that any of those three could have been a factor in the Derby. Segdefield wasn't that far back and managed to run the race of his life finishing fifth.
