High Finance won ridden out. Three cracks of the whip at the eighth-pole ... then a hand ride. He went much more easily than Henny Hughes in the early part ... and closed much faster because of the encouragement.

Henny won more easily and carried five more pounds ... a better effort ... but not by all that much.
