How did it work to your advantage? You bet $48 on the race and got back $43.50? What am I missing?
My net loss was only $4.50. I guess my point was that is not a horrible result if you are willing to take a chance at betting against a huge favorite. Had I bet those same three horses to Win only as opposed to across the board, then that would have been a over 10 times the loss.
