8/29: Saratoga (Day 33-Twilight Card)

Another challenging Spa card and the Del Mar double Carryover provided fodder for a very pleasant Thursday. While the monster scores proved elusive, there were some solid results on a day where unearthing the big surprises resulted in outrageous returns. Lukas' $100.00 SAR 9th race winner keyed a $7,350 P4, while Wake Up Maggie ($33.80, DMR 7th) tripped the $371,000 sextet mutuel.

I wasn't close on those, but Del Mar provided a couple of very nice exotic hits during the evening session with the 4th/5th races bringing in $60 and $120 bingos while a key of Texas Devil in the nightcAp resulted in a $220 triple. Back at the Spa, the 7th race late scratch of Dose of Reality left Easy Ashley an easy winner, and keying her resulted in a $260 tri that covered the days misfires. Hope you did well!
