Above average in the NL this year isnt necessarily going to translate to success in the AL. And he isnt exactly pitching shutouts or anything close to that. Hes a good pitcher but lets not get carried away. Probably the 4th or
5th best starter on the Yankees and they are not exactly known for strong starting pitching.
