very sad way to end for detroit. I liked him alot despite not convinced he was the best 2m hurdler around last year... The highs and lows of the game were shown so much in that race. Hardy Eustace is the quintessential National Hunt horse, with a limitless amount of guts and determination..it was so good to watch, but then again you just knew something bad happened to Detroit..
