Just from looking at the racing guides provided to us here in the U.S. for wagering, it just looks like there are a lot of horses with Encosta as the sire.

But you're right, there are a lot of Redoutes as well. Dangerous, Be Esprit, Tessa Rossa, Terrific, and Hurricane Sky seem to be other major players you see a lot of.

What I notice, is as far as the American handle goes, we'll bet sires we reckognize. You'll see Rock of Gibraltor, Tale of the Cat (Storm Cat), Distorted Humor, and others with reckognizeable names from time to time.
