i just thought of another name, see what you guys think...
Io she was the daughter of a river god, and was turned into a heifer by hera to keep her from being ravaged by zeus (good old hera and zeus, a match made in heaven) at any rate, with aldebaran being a star in taurus, the bull, i remembered Io while trying to think of a way to tie in the taurus angle....
