![]() Riot, to be honest, I think that it depends on the dam of the stallion too. If you have a quiet mare and breed to an unruly and temperamental stallion, your chances are probably 50/50 that the resulting foal will be either quiet or temperamental. Using Jazil as an example... his sire, Seeking the Gold is a nasty SOB, but Jazil didn't inherit that demeanor. I would guess (and I'm only guessing because I have never personally been around Better Than Honour) that Jazil inherited a quieter personality from his dam.
In regards to conformation, some stallions with what I would consider poor conformation have sired perfect specimens in the conformation department. Sometimes I wonder if it's a total crapshoot. Here is Holy Ground: ![]() and here is Straight Man: ![]()
