Asmussen article-Good Reading!

I saw him [again] at Lone Star on Friday. While I appreciate the fact that he has no problem walking around the grandstand like every other Joe, he looks and acts miserable all the time. Everybody "whispers 'is that Steve Asmussen'" because he walks around looking like a criminal constantly checking over his shoulder, completely unapproachable.

I tried to be objective in reading this, despite my dislike of him and his "training practices". While overall a good read, a line I have an issue with:

The suspension made headlines here and there but hardly made a splash beyond the horse racing world. Even among fairly knowledgeable race fans, Asmussen's rap as a cheater was mostly unknown.
Are you KIDDING ME??? This guy has been known as one of the biggest cheats in the history of the game by even the once a month fan!!! Let's not pull the wool over our eyes!
