The squirrels at Delaware take a life opening day each and every year......carnivores for much more than shells and nuts they are far from mellow. It is rumored that each and every year they annoint the next apprentice jock who pays proper respect to PoP the Tony Soprano of Delaware Squirrel types. All you have to do is ask Edgar, Ramon etc.....what the price of peanuts is in Wilmington.
I usually show up for the main event and before the Arabian's.....I'll look for you in the paddock next to the squirrels near the jocks mounting area
