Well yes, "Perhaps". While no one could argue about the greatness of that marvelous filly, it is virtually impossible to truly compare athletes of different generations with one another and proclaim one the "Greatest of All Time."

While you could have wonderful arguments about whether Rogers Hornsby was a better shortstop than Derek Jeter, how could anyone say for certain? When comparing any athletes from different generations, there are so many different variables that it becomes more a matter of opinion than anything else.
