Channel Maker didn't run a bad race; he was part of a blanket finish for the place spot, but was buried down by the rail and came out on the wrong end of the 5 horse photo.
I think that is Red's first Grade 1 victory. Pretty good for a 9 year old. Gives hope for the rest of us old guys.

Yes I had Red Knight to win and was going to put the C-note on him to but didn't. My racing mind is certainly not in sync this year.
