They could lower their pick 4’s to single digits, it won’t matter. The track is unplayable. That’s why when they tried the low takeout a few years back it didn’t matter.

You can't make that conclusion after one day. Was 5x5x7x8 in the sequence. Field size will increase as meet gets going. As Andrew Offerman explained they're expecting another 200+ horses yet. Today's early P4 is 6x8x12x8.

Their live handle grew 7% and simu 10.5% when they tried the aggressive takeout experiment and as noted Tuesday, there's no way to quantify how successful the trial really was because the additional generated churn wasn't necessarily plowed back in to CBY.
