I would have thought the main goal was to develop him into a Grade 1 horse. Would have made more sense to ship him out there late last year to get ready for the Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 Challenge preps or whatever constitutes the Carnival.
I guess it was either gonna be him or Maxfield. At least it wasn't both.
Was kind of hoping one or the other (or both) made the Met Mile.
