It is a bad thing because you never know exactly when the race is going to go off and therefore you have a much harder time trying to time placing a bet to get odds that you believe are favorable. There is nothing worse than having a horse sitting at odds you believe to be overlayed only to watch the odds plummet in the last seconds.

What GP has been doing for sometime now is ridiculous, it is often five or more minutes after it hits 0 MTP before they actually get the race off. It is bad enough to watch odds change significantly after a race goes off which is understandable as many pools are combined a few seconds after the race but to never accurately know when a race is going to go off is inexcusable.

Is it really too much to ask a racetrack to post accurate minutes to post?
