I made a small bet on Lani yesterday. Thought he had maybe a 5% chance to win the race. I'll generally take 30-1 when I think it ought to be 20-1.

Here's his chart comment, which could account for at least 2 of the 5 lengths he lost by: "LANI bobbled at the break and was away last, dropped far back early and raced off the rail, began a run leaving the three eighths, steadied off heels soon into the lane, angled out to split rivals, lugged in briefly near the eighth pole, corrected and kept on with good energy." (emphasis added)

Is there a word for listing losing bets after-the-fact? What's the opposite of redboarding? I'll blueboard my other two losing win bets: Uncle Lino and Laoban, my only consolation being that neither finished last.
