Obviously he's not proven yet.
He was the highest priced of 67 yearlings offered by sire Tale of the Cat at all yearling sales last year - and he did unquestionably run sizzling fast for 5 furlongs - and he did it without the loose lead trip a lot of those "2yo big fig" horses you refer to win with.
The Barbara Henny Hughes debuter who got loose without any effort already had two different high quality 2yo sales performances:
