|   That's what surprised me, to know that Kubrick had done a caper flick in his early years. Sterling Hayden was good as Johnnie and the narration gave it a Dragnet feel. Released during the age when Hitchcock ruled, I could definitely sense a Hitchcock influence. Watched it last night back to back with 2001- A Space Odyssey. Its hard to believe those two movies came out a mere 12 years apart. |
