The guy is the son of a great horsemen and had a shot to follow in his footsteps. Not too many get the luxury to be brought up and learn from a guy like Dick Dutrow. Rick was a degenrate gambler/drug addict who got that "rough life" all on his own. He has nobody to blame but himself for his pitfalls.

The guy has ZERO respect for others in the game...he has ripped Assmussen...David Carroll....what he did in The Whitney yrs ago to make sure St Liam won was ridiculous. Gary Contessa, who I am not a fan of, said it perfectly "At a time when he could be doing something good for the sport, he is doing the exact opposite". This was mentioned during the whole steroid talk when Dutrow was suppose to go in front of Congress.

What does knowing him personally have to do with anything? All you have to do is listen to him and follow along to know what he is all about.
Let's get back to what i was talking about. The fat pig comment, and name calling on the forum . I just hate to see it go that way. Now as far as Dutrow
I like his brashness, he's different and many of the trainers today do exactly the same things he does, except his problems was brought to the front with the triple crown coverage. Question? Has Curlin been on steriods for last 3 years?
