Joeydb, One of the things that the book did say was pretty much to try to pick your spots wisely. Meaning to try to maybe find a more obscure tourney that might be less than capacity (The prize money will be a bit short) so you will have better odds to hit the board or even win. I see the Eagles logo so I am guessing that you live in the Pa/NJ area (or just a glutton for punishment). Try looking into the tourneys that they run at the Meadowlands and at Monmouth Park. There always seems to be openings in them. I went into the last one at the Meadowlands and had a chance to hit the board going into my last bet. But they definatly did not sell out. I also believe that the ones on the NYRA circuit are more expensive to enter and always seem to sell out. So if you can find a softer spot to enter that would be my suggestion.
