Everswindell (Waddell) worked right-handed on the course proper, where she was timed over her final 600m in 37.8. She will have her final run before heading to the New Zealand Cup meeting in the open stayers' event at Ellerslie on Saturday.

Stablemate Fiscal Madness (K. Jones) did similar work to clock 38.4, while others to work right-handed were Sweet Caroline (Ferris) in a smart 37.2, and Xcellent (Coleman), whose 39.2 took him closer to a return to racing at Ellerslie on November 6.
