I think its a little early to place this much importance on one series.
4 teams (Tigers, White Sox, Yankees, Red Sox)...1 of these teams is not making the playoffs. 78 more games left to go. A long time by anyone's standards. Looks like we have a very exciting 2nd half ahead of us. Look out for the Houston Astros.
