CONTEST: NHC Play-in Qualifier Play-a-long
Sunday, September 14th ‘Points4Picks’ contest. A pure 'pick winners' format. 20-10-5 scoring!
Players will make their selections based upon a mythical $2 win, place and show format (across the board). Scoring will be based upon a points system with 20 total points if your selection finishes 1st (wins); 10 total points if your horse finishes 2nd (places); and 5 total points if your horse finishes 3rd (shows). Official pari-mutuel prices are not used for scoring. Should a selection be scratched and not replaced, the post-time favorite will be substituted. Just curious. Did anyone play in the real NHC Contest? If so, it looks like both Dell and Viscount would have qualified for the 2nd round which I think awards 3 seats for Las Vegas. I looked at the leaderboard for the contest and the top score was 115 so those two did very well. Great play by both.
