Nyra Rewards Tape Delay

I just watched the CCA on MSG PLus (TVG Feed) and the Nyra Rewards feed was nine minutes to post with the horse not even on the track yet.

What kind of BS is this? I thought the tape delay was 3 minutes, not 3X's that.

Of course the betting page showed 0 MTP.

Your not going to make many friends when people get shutout assuming that the information presented to them is accurate.

I don't get more then about a 10 second delay. Are you sure you are not the problem?

Right now the video feed feed says 3 MTP while the betting page says 5 MTP. Which is more in line with the normal 3 minute delay in providing the video feed.

Perhaps in was because the stake was being broadcast on cable

Its monday and I just watched the 8th at Saratoga on Xpress bet and on Nyra rewards they were not even entering the gate yet, when the race was over on Xpress

Did you get a different result on NYRA Rewards than Xpress bet?

no, but speaking of results there have been times when the results are posted through the TOTEBOARD feature on Nyra Rewards before they show the race

I honestly have no idea what you are complaining about, I am watching the live feed and checked my NYRA Rewards feed against it and the live feed is about 3/10th of a second behind.

I consistently play races watching the feed on my computer through NYRA Rewards and I understand it may be behind a few seconds but have never had a problem. Also, I have never gotten the results on the toteboard before the NYRA Rewards feed has shown the race.

Nyra is not allowed by NYS law to show a "live" feed. There is a three minute delay and if your live feed is over the Nyra channel or cable otb the same rules apply. While other ADW's are allowed to show an actual live feed because the are not subject to NYS laws.

This was supposed to be fixed two years ago and has not

There is no way that is true, I often get bets in right before the race goes off, the delay is only a matter of seconds.

I just watched my cable box clock turn to 5:15 and then timed it against the live feed on NYC OTB and the delay was 8 seconds. I then checked the same against my live feed from NYC OTB at 5:16 to my NYRA Rewards feed on my computer. The delay was 9 seconds.

I think you should be checking your equipment instead of bitching about NYRA.

I think you should read a little closer in each case your using a feed that originates from Nyra inside NYS.I just saw the 4 win the 9th on Express before they had loaded on rewards. The 4 wins

If Nyra isn't posting a "live" feed on there own betting platform do you really think they are giving the true "live" feed to NYOTB, not that they can, it's illegal
