He's doing steeplechase racing as a gelding now. Kinda funny how he'd pull that trick with the hay. I do wonder when a horse does things like that they may just be really bored and too smart for their own good. Chris McCarron said Tiznow got bored like that in the barn, so maybe Mr. Hot Stuff got in his own way. Racing over jumps requires an extra concentration from him and maybe he needed that. He's racing in the 3rd at Colonial Downs on Saturday and is 6-1. It's the David L. (Zeke) Ferguson Memorial Hurdle S. (G3). I'd love to know if he still does the hay trick.
