Default Kent Desormeaux to ride Brown Almighty in BC Juvenile Turf

Very excited that Kent D is reunited with 2008's best 3 year old, Big Brown. Well not really but Big Brown's son Brown Almighty. Would love to see a great showing and a healthy season enroute to potentially racing in the 2013 Kentucky Derby.

From Brown Almighty's Official site on Facebook:

I would like to welcome a new partner whom I will be racing for, Brent Gasaway. As of last week Brent has become a partner whom I will be trying my best to win for and also would like to announce Kent Desormeaux whom will be holding the reins and sitting on my back for the BCJT. Thank you guys for having the faith in me as I will give it my all.

Brownie

You're excited about Desormeaux riding? Have you seen him ride this year?

Of similar importance, Carlos Montalvo takes over the mount on El Corriente from Maylan Studart in Saturday's opener at Belmont. It's nice to see him get another shot after losing the mount following a no shot 9th in an off the turf race.

Yeah I know it's not been a good year for Kent. As a Big Brown fan, I'm glad that the jockey who rode him to all of those great victories, will get to ride his first real contending offspring. Maybe Kent can turn things around in the BC races (assuming he is also riding in other races there).
