| Thanks so much for a marvelous piece. I'm having difficulty finding words but there are great horsemen at FL and good horses can come from anywhere . And Lisa fired a bullet today at Spa ! Targetting Loudonville S. 8/6

| Made the FRONT PAGE of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle today. Never thought I'd see racing on the front page of a paper outside of Ky.

| From DRF.com: "Snyder named the filly after his wife, Lisa, who in 2003 died of ovarian cancer, as well as a gentlemen’s club that he frequented in Florida." http://www.drf.com/news/4500-filly-wins-saratoga-stakes |

| this story would probably do more for most fans than seeing a rich guy win with a blueblood. most of us can relate more to this guy and his $4500 purchase than to the rich guys who swoop in and buy a horse that is a proven runner, or put out millions at yearling and two year old auctions. hell of a story. i don't quite get the part about his wife's spirit being in the horse....but nobody's perfect! it's what many wish for, but few get. a good horse that pays their way. |
