Default If you owned Silver Train and he comes out of this race Okay...

Would you send him to the BC sprint?

I wouldnt. If my trainer were Richard Dutrow and he pretty much said that my horse wouldnt have much of a chance, i would steer clear and wait till Belmont opened back up next spring.

Any opinions out there?

Really tough to say. If he runs poorly I dont think it will hurt his stud fee THAT much and he'd still be able to be ready for the Cigar Mile, but if he were a two time winner it would up his value a good bit I think. Very much doubt he'll be around next spring for Belmont, so carpe diem and see what he can do at the Downs...
