that's what i just told my husband, that they sound bad.

he replied that if they keep having past their prime geezers that they won't have to worry about 'titties falling out'. (his words) i told him i would find old man boobage to be offensive!

omg. not only is it bad sounding, it's bad lip synching! tony laughed and rewound so i could see. yikes.

Phil Collins already did a horrible half time show back in 2000
maybe no one remembers he did that and he can come back

if they did away with the halftime show maybe the could cut a couple $100 off the ticket price....... $800-$900-$1000 face value this year.

i like the who, but i didn't care for the show. but then, i don't care for any half-time show. i didn't think they sounded that good-and then when daltrey didn't even try to match his mouth to the sound...just didn't seem he cared. but he'd probably already cashed the check!

Bob -totally agree.

Was it the best halftime show - probably not. But as another HUGE fan, I thought they rocked it great. Their songs are not meant to be stripped down to 3 minute snippets. Wont Get Fooled Again can be a 15 minute epic on its own.

Long Live Rock.

No doubt their music is really great, but as performers on a huge stage like that I think their glory years have passed.

Exactly...

They are almost 70 years old, if I can move like that when I am 70, I am a really happy old man.

I thought it was pretty good, but many people I've talked to today said they didn't like it. I'm not sure what there was not to like about it. It will be interesting to see what they do next year. Maybe they need to bring Beevis and Butthead back next year.

I like the Who and thought they were OK. The trouble with old music is that it takes you back to that place and time, and honestly, it's a bit blurry from back in the day.

Default I hate when this happens

I went to get my Who cup from when I saw them back in '89 or something like that and I can't find it. I hope it didn't get lost in the move.

anyway. I am a fan and I thought they couldn't sing a lick and the playing was awful.

beats the hell out of "up with people" but whatever I thought Paul McCartney did better
