Can someone tell me what "Dogs up" means in the workout below?

Horse name Salve Germania (IRE)
Notes
Activity type Workout
Activity date 01-04-2010
Track Palm Meadows
Surface Turf (Dogs up)
Distance 3 Furlongs
Workout type Breezing
Workout time 0:39.00
Track condition Firm

That there were cones up and the horse maybe had to work on say the 5 path for the 3 panels.

You see it a lot on turf courses when they don't want it getting chewed up near the rail.
