Default Musket Man Part 3

Gale can we get an update on the horse after his less than stellar work out.

Personally this will not deter me from betting on him.. I have know many a horse that hates to train yet shows up on race day everytime.

Plus you have all these fools trying to get their name in the paper by training down in 57/58 galloping out in 10? Doesnt make any sense to me why you would be basically running in 5f races a week before the derby?

Hopefully with this "poor" work I will still get my price on him.

Definate overachiever, I think the horse is all heart and guts and would like to see him make a good account for himself on Sat.

thoughts about musket man

derek thinks he can be in the top 5 - all systems go

the barn is now most afraid of POTN , they have watched him this week and are super impressed

they rate dunkirk good as well but not as much as the baffert horse

fwiw -also if the filly was running derek thinks she would have a very good chance to beat the boys

hope that helps kgar311

He did an incredible training job with this horse. My hats off to him. If Chuck wasn't my friend I'd hire him to train.
