Default Mambo In Seattle ? ? ?

Are the rumors true ?
Will he really be coming to Belmont in 2 weeks to face Curlin, with Mr. Calvin Borel getting the mount.

I pray they go Jockey Club, if the price is right, and in my mind 3-1 would be, i would make a nice bet on him.
why super derby ? following in the footsteps of Grasshopper ?

super derby is for 3 yo's and has a nice purse. i'd imagine they think it would be a good place to shoot for a win.
and i have a hard time thinking he'd be that low vs curlin odds-wise.

THE HIGHER odds the better. if you look at the noms. for the JCGC there is not much other then Curlin, Curlins last 3 races have been nothing special, solid but not spectacular, and some think he might be tailing off a bit, he has had a long campaign with a trip to Dubai, that normally eventually takes its toll on almost all horses, if he regresses at all, or even runs the 110-112 beyer he has been putting up, i think Mambo could make it intriguing, If Mambo were to take a step forward, which you would have to assume he will, he could be right there with Curlin IMO.

Mambo needs to actually win a real race before taking on Curlin. The Super Derby looks like an awful field. It is a nice prep for him for the BCC. He is a Kingmambo and should like the synthetic.

If Mambo were to win the BCC and BB not run well, he might miss out the 3yr old Eclipse to Big Brown by the nose he lost by in the Travers.

How is a race on the dirt against restricted three year old company a "nice prep" for a race on synthetic against older?

Curlins last 3 have not been Curlin like performances, if he regresses at all in this spot, Mambo can beat win
