They are probably in the process of examining how they can best profit from this right now.

If I was a bookmaker, my PETA reaction betting line as to why she kicked her stall might look like this ...

Roid Rage (-180)

A prankster told NK that Gabby Saez would be her jockey next out. (+140)

i'm sure they can dig up an animal psychologist that would make the case that the fence kicking was no doubt a symptom of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder caused by use of the whip during racing.

I don't understand why people feel the need to joke around with a horse that has just passed away....

Because insensitive pricks have no perception of situations or circumstances and thus continue to be, well, insensitive pricks.

These horses run for our enjoyment....when terrible things happen to them I don't know what goes thru someone's head to make stupid comments and jokes about the poor horse....seems like lately this message board has been more of someone trying to top someone else's stupid ****ing joke (which there are counts pages of them) rather then a horse racing board

I really don't know. I still don't know exactly what happened. I was told that she got her leg caught in the fence. But the articles I read say that she simply kicked it. Either way, I don't know if there would have been any way to prevent it. I think it was probably just a freak accident. If something scares a horse and they get excited, they can hurt themselves very badly.
