I love the way you keep those things handy. Its quite impressive. Bottom line is, stop thinking about the money. You think Coolmore or the god forsaken Saudis give a rats ass about 10 million dollars? Come on. I know you are smarter than that.

this got me to thinking some more.

can you imagine if juddmonte had actually won the auction for tgm? that would have been sweet!

he undoubtedly would have won the derby and preakness, then scratched out of the belmont because he drew a bad post position.

I dont know who bid on what, all I know is that money is nothing at all to these people. These prices are all totally blown out of whack. Who cares how much this cost and that cost. Do you think the horse walks around and says"I know I sold for 16 million, but it was probably closer to 4 million and it might have been 1.5 million. "

Buzz Chace hangs out at Monmouth Park simulcast and bets big money on Evangline Downs races. He's the kind of guy that's involved in this business, get my drift?

I mean all these guys are like used car salesmen picking the pockets of wealthy people. They are all on the inside. Who do you think his "unnamed" buy from New Jersey was? Come on, PID boy, lemme see what you got. This should be a chippy for you.

You know how in college football - they put out a top 25 poll everyweek, one by the AP and one by the coaches, which feature a ranking of the supposed 25 best teams in the country?

I'm going to start doing weekly ones like that - instead I'm going to do mine ranking all the fine jewish friends I have on the interwebs - instead of ranking college football teams.

I know I'm bringing up an old thread, but Patricia's Gem is set to debut on Saturday at Santa Anita at 6 furlongs. I would assume this would be too short for her, but I'm really excited. From what I could see in pics from the Keeneland sale, she's a beautiful filly.........Hope she runs well - it sounds like she's supposed to be the goods
