Default 6/20: BELMONT ($70k+)

First of three carryover cards at the "A" tracks.. and seemingly the most difficult.

BELMONT PARK

PRE-SCRATCHES

4th: MDN CLM, 3+, 6f-T (P6, P3)

Very tricky way to start P6..

1. #1e Rice entry 3-1
2. #7 Lemon Shore 4-1 WON
A. #5 Kal El 7-2
B. #2 Prince of Iron 4-1

LONGSHOT: #9 Tacticianor 12-1

5th: CLM/N1Y, 3+, 7f (Grand Slam, P3)

1. #9 Charming Image 6-1
2. #1e Dutrow entry 3-1 WON
A. #5 SCR
B. #8 Dynergy 5-1

6th: NYB-MSW, 3+, 1m-T (P4, DD, Super)

This is a trap race IMO.. WIDE open and standing against favorites in race bets..

1. #5 Brushed Prince 6-1 3rd
2. #4 Stormy Success 12-1
A. #1 Danzaway 5-1 2nd
B. #2 Kick Up Your Heels 10-1 4th

LONGSHOT/SUPER ADD: #3 Will Never Bend 15-1

7th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 1m (P3)

1. #9 Royal Attire 8-5 WON
2. #5 Foolish Bid 8-1
A. #10 On the Margin 4-1
B. #2 Lorccan 12-1 2nd

8th: OC/N2X, F&M-3+, 8.5f-IT (DD)

1. #1 Beau Dare 5-2 2nd
2. #5 Zaynab 3-1 3rd
3. #6 My Rachel 7-2 WON

9th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 6f (Super)

1. #9 Klassy Tripp 8-5
2. #3 Dontess 5-1
A. #10 Our Top Cat 4-1
B. #5 Secretfairways 8-1

<$200 P6 Play:

4: 1-7
5: 1-9
6: 1-4-5
7: 5-9
8: 1-5
9: 3-9

2x2x3x2x2x2 = 96 x $2 = $192

<$50 P4/P3 Plays:

6: 1-2-3-4-5-8
7: 9
8: 1-5-6
9: 3-9-10

6x1x3x3 = $54

Non-Single Alternate P4/$12 P3 Play:

6: 1-2-4-5
7: 2-5-9
8: 1-5
9: 3-9

4x3x2x2 = $48/3x2x2 = $12

Good luck!

http://www.equibase.com/premium/changes/BEL-changes.asp

NOTE: Track MUDDY/SEALED with what looks to be a pretty loose top surface..

Turf labeled GOOD..

No rain expected and track should be drying out from here on in.. After the 2nd (6.5f), there won't be a race on the main until the 5th.. Could be tacky and tiring at that point..

I see Sabre Baby is in the 3rd today for Dutrow after running on Sunday. I know Dutrow is fond of this less than 7 days run back move, but has anybody charted what happens to these horses after their two closely spaced races? I haven't paid enough attention to know, but do they continue to run regularly or do most of them end up on the shelf for 60-90 days?

Not that it really matters but you cannot bet the Pick-6 for $1 in NY.

At this rate we may not even have to sign for 6 out of 6...

So far it is looking pretty easy.

Of course I was eliminated right away ( luckily, it was not for real money ).

Even I'm alive with my contest ticket in the first 3 legs.

Anyone have the results for any other races that results aren't available online yet?

It looks like we over-thought this one, just a little bit

She's got a big shot if she runs back to her last, I don't like the 3 much but everyone else in here can win.

I need the 3 to make my ticket interesting. Traded the 4 out for the 3 in fairly late. I've been thinking about that for the last hour. You can't bet them all.
